Cryotherapy Treatment

Warts and verrucas are ugly, embarrassing and often painful.   Whilst they may go away on their own, they can last for 5-10 years.

They can spread to other areas of the body or other family members as they are caused by a virus.

As with most difficult to treat conditions there are lots of suggested treatments ranging from using duct tape, over the counter topical gels, freezing kits or even surgery to cut them out.  Most treatments don’t really work.
This involves using liquid nitrogen which is carefully sprayed onto the wart or verruca to freeze the lesion and kill the causative virus.
Repeat treatments if required are usually at 2-week intervals.
Complete eradication of the wart or verruca usually requires 2-3 treatments but can be as little as one treatment for small warts on the face or as many as 5 treatments for stubborn verrucas.

Once treated verrucas and warts rarely recur as immunity to the virus that causes them is gained.
