Male Specific
- Testicular Examination and Rectal Examination if indicated.
- A PSA blood test if clinically Indicated, additional fees apply.
Female Specific
- Breast examination if indicated.
- Pelvic Examination if indicated.
- A Smear Test if clinically indicated, additional fees apply.
- Menopause/fertility discussion optional.
Fully Comprehensive Health Check
A 40 minute Appointment with the GP PLUS A 20 Minute follow up appointment with the GP to discuss the results and the Health Report. Includes:
- Top to Toe body examination
- Chest and Abdomen examination
- Neurological Examination
- MSK Assessment
- Body Composition and BMI
- Blood Pressure
- Oxygen and Lung function tests – Note – this test is not available at the moment due to Covid 19 restrictions.
- Tests included
- Resting ECG
- Blood tests to include Liver and Kidney health, Bone health, Glucose and HBA1c, Detailed Cholesterol levels, Thyroid, Ferritin, Vitamin D.
- Bowel Cancer test (45+)
- Urine Dipstick
- Additional tests can be added. Please discuss this with the Clinician.
- Cardiovascular Risk Assessment
- Diabetes Risk Assessment
- Health Concern discussion
- Prescription if needed
- Referral Letter if needed
Mini Health Check
A 30 minute Appointment with the GP PLUS A 20 Minute follow up appointment with the GP to discuss the results and the Health Report. Includes:
- Chest and Abdomen examination

- Blood tests to check Liver & Kidney Health, Bone Health, Basic Cholesterol and Glucose.

What can you expect from having a health check with Stonegate Medical Clinic?
From having a health check with us, you should then have the knowledge and guidance from our experienced team to work towards a healthier you. You will receive a report outlining the findings from the health check, this will include helpful, and easy to follow tips and advice.
Will my insurance help?
If you have private health insurance it is worth checking what coverage you have for health screens as a lot of providers have an allowance, which can be, redeemed against health screens of your choice.
