Stonegate Medical Care Tokens
Care Tokens provide prepaid private GP appointments for existing patients who expect to need ongoing follow-up care at Stonegate Medical.
Available in packages of 5, 10 or 20 consultations, they offer a flexible way to plan and pay for future appointments. Care Tokens can also be shared with friends and family.

How Care Tokens Work
- Purchase a Package
Care Tokens are purchased upfront in packages of 5, 10 or 20 consultations. - Receive a Unique Code
Following purchase, a unique Care Token code will be issued to the purchaser. - Provide the Code When Booking
The code must be provided when arranging an appointment. One Care Token will be used for each eligible existing patient consultation.
Appointments cannot be booked using Care Tokens without the unique code. If the code cannot be found, Stonegate Medical can resend it by email to the original purchaser.
Sharing with Friends and Family
Care Token packages are not limited to use by the purchaser. The unique code can be shared with friends and family, allowing them to use consultations from the prepaid package when booking an appointment with Stonegate Medical.
Each person using the package must provide the unique code when arranging their appointment. If the code is misplaced, Stonegate Medical can resend it by email to the original purchaser.
Additional Costs
The cost of any medication is not included and remains payable separately.
Investigations, scans, specialist consultations and other services provided by external organisations are also charged separately by the relevant provider.

Care Tokens FAQs
No. Care Tokens do not expire, and no time limit applies to their use.
Yes. Care Tokens can be used for face-to-face, telephone and virtual consultations for existing patients.
Yes. Care Tokens can only be used for existing patient consultations.
Anyone who has not previously attended Stonegate Medical must first book a 30-minute new patient consultation so that their medical history can be reviewed. A Care Token cannot be used for the new patient consultation.
Appointments using Care Tokens must be booked by telephone or email. The unique Care Token code must be provided when the appointment is arranged.
Yes. A Care Token will be deducted if an appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, in line with Stonegate Medical’s standard cancellation policy.
No. Unused Care Tokens are non-refundable.
Yes. The purchaser can check the remaining balance by contacting Stonegate Medical by telephone or email and providing the unique Care Token code.
Each benefit covers one repeat prescription request. The 10 repeat-prescription benefits included with the 20 Care Token package therefore cover 10 separate requests.
Yes. The repeat-prescription allowance is linked to the unique Care Token code and can be used by registered friends and family sharing the package.
Where clinically appropriate, the preparation of a private prescription during a consultation is already included without an additional Stonegate Medical administration fee. The repeat-prescription allowance is therefore only used for separate repeat prescription requests.
