Varilrix or Varivax are chickenpox or ‘varicella’ vaccines. They are used to boost the body’s immune system to stop infection from chickenpox. This vaccine can be given to both adults and children older than 9 months. Two doses of the vaccine are recommended
Zostavax: This vaccine is used to prevent shingles and is recommended for individuals over the age of 50. Two doses are require for this vaccine.
Pneumococcal Polysaccharide: This can cause infections of the lungs (especially pneumonia) and of the coverings over the brain and spinal cord (meningitis) and in the blood (bacteraemia or septicaemia). You will receive one dose of the vaccine. A second dose of the vaccine is not usually given until at least three years after the first dose. Healthy people do not usually need to have a second dose. However, for persons at increased risk of serious pneumococcal infection (such as those who have no spleen or a spleen that does not work properly), further doses of the vaccine may be recommended, usually between 3 and 5 years after the first dose.
Gardasil 9 – Gardasil 9 is a vaccine suitable for children and adults from 9 years of age. It is given to protect against diseases caused buy the Human Papillomavirus.These diseases include pre-cancerous lesions and cancers of the female genitals (cervix, vulva, and vagina), pre-cancerous lesions and cancers of the anus and genital warts in males and females. This vaccination schedule recommends three doses of the vaccination. Usually given 1, 2 then 6 months after the first dose. This schedule can vary depending on your age however the team will discuss this with you upon booking.
Menveo: The vaccination protects against meningitis and septicaemia caused by four meningococcal strains – Men W, A, C and Y. It is suitable for children over the age of two, teenagers and adolescents. Following steep increases of the Meningitis W since 2009, Public Health England recommends that all university students receive the vaccination. This vaccination is given as a single dose

Rabipur Vaccine: This is suitable for people of all ages. The recommended schedule for this vaccine if you have never had any rabies vaccines before would be three doses given at 0, 7 and 21 days apart.
Dukoral: Suitable form 2 years of age. Children 2 to 6 years of age – Three doses recommended to be given at least one week apart. It takes at least one week after the last dose for the protection to begin. Adults and children from 6 years of age – Two doses recommended to be given at least one week apart.
Typhim Vi:Suitable from 2 years. The vaccination should be given at least two weeks before you risk exposure and protection should last three years.
Twinrix: Suitable from 16 years old. It is recommended that a total of three injections over six months be given. The first dose will be given on an elected date. The remaining two doses will be given one month, and six months after the first dose.
Havrix: Suitable for 16 years and above. One dose of the vaccine should protect you for one year, however if you need further cover (up to 40 years) a booster dose should be given 6 to 12 months after the first injection
HbvaxPro 10mg: Suitable from 16 years. A course of three vaccinations is recommended, the first two are given with a one month interval, and the third is given six months after the first.
Revaxis: This covers tetanus, diphtheria and polio. Suitable for 6 years and above. This booster vaccination is recommended for children from the age of 6 years, teenagers and adults who have received this vaccine or a similar vaccine in the past. One dose is recommended.
This is suitable to cover diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough) and polio. Suitable from the age of 3 years old. This can be used as a booster dose and also is acceptable for pertussis booster if you have had the recommended vaccines in the past under the NHS guidance. One dose recommended.
