Dr Romesh graduated from Imperial College London in 2009 with Distinction in clinical sciences. He initially trained as a surgeon and became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons prior to a career change to General Practice.
He worked in numerous specialities including Emergency medicine, General and Vascular Surgery, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Breast Surgery before qualifying as a GP In 2017.
Subsequently he worked in Australia as a GP/ Skin doctor for 5 years before returning back to Yorkshire. In Australia he undertook further training in Skin cancer medicine and surgery and was awarded the certificate in Skin cancer medicine and Dermoscopy from the Skin cancer College of Australia.

Dr Blackwell graduated from the University of Manchester in 2002 and completed General Practice training in 2007 in London. She continued to develop clinical interests and gained several qualifications and diplomas relating to womens’ health. She has also worked as a palliative care doctor in both hospice and hospital settings gaining a higher qualification in the speciality. Alongside her role at the clinic, she also works as a GP in the NHS and a GP appraiser engaging in annual peer reviews to facilitate professional development and promoting good clinical standards.
Outside of clinical work, Dr Blackwell is a Mum and endeavours to keep active. She can often be seen out and about on her bike, walking her dog and chasing her daughter around soft play and trampoline parks!

Dr Modesta R. Kavu Doctor of Medicine M.D, GP
I graduated at the Medical University of Warsaw as a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery in 2005 after which I did my GP training and qualified in 2012. I have worked as a doctor in respiratory medicine in a leading NHS hospital. I have published a few medical articles and done presentations at the British Thoracic Association Conference. I have worked in general practice and in hospitals overseas and in UK within the NHS and private practices attaining varied experiences and skills in different health care settings. I trained in travel vaccines including yellow fever. One of my aspirations is to more voluntary work in poorer countries and communities as pro bono publico work. My philosophy in life is, ‘Do unto others what you would want them to do unto you.’
Outside my work, I enjoy walking, running, travelling and spending time with loved ones. I am a member of a choir although I cannot honestly say that I am a good singer.

Dr Craig Skeet BSc (hons) MB ChB
I grew up in Sheffield and studied Medicine at Leeds University, graduating in 1995.
I spent my first four years in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Leeds and Bradford hospitals including one year working in assisted conception and IVF.
I moved into General Practice in 2003 after completing my GP training. I currently work as an NHS GP in South Leeds and at Stonegate Medical Clinic.
As well as all aspects of general practice, I specialise in

Dr Madhu Lazarus MBBS, DMRD, DRCOG, MRCGP, DFFP, Cert in Palliative care
I graduated as a doctor in 1987 and joined the Army Medical Corps as a General Duty Medical Officer. On completion of a 5 year short service tenure I undertook Post graduate studies in Radiodiagnosis. On completion of this I worked as a specialist radiologist and continued to also work as a generalist for a not -for-profit organization for a few years.
I then had the privilege of working in Africa for 3 years as a Radiologist and on my return to India continued to work as a specialist radiologist for a few years. In 2003 I decided to return to General Practice
I moved to the UK in 2004 and worked for almost 2 years in Psychiatry before undertaking the VTS. I have been a GP for the past 8 years.

Dr Will Dawson has over 12 years of experience as a General Practitioner within the NHS, He has had the privilege of caring for thousands of patients from all walks of life.
His work as a GP has given him deep insights into the challenges and rewards of primary care, from diagnosing and managing acute conditions to supporting patients with complex, chronic illnesses. This frontline experience has shaped his approach to healthcare, emphasising the importance of compassion, understanding, and a commitment to each patient’s unique journey.
Dr Dawson is a graduate of the University of Leeds School of Medicine in 2007, and member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and British College of Lifestyle Medicine.

Mr Tibbot - Gynaecologist
I am a Consultant Gynaecologist offering general gynaecological services, advice and treatment for chronic pelvic pain and menstrual dysfunction. I am the clinical Lead for the NHS Leeds Trust aside from my private work.
My main areas of interest are advanced keyhole surgery for the diagnosis and subsequent management of all stages of endometriosis, the removal of fibroids and cysts and total laparoscopic hysterectomies.
At Stonegate Medical Clinic I will be co leading on the cutting edge “Endosure” programme to investigate women for endometriosis without needing surgery as well as offering comprehensive management plans of chronic pelvic pain, pre-menopausal and post-menopausal symptoms.
As a clinician my philosophy is rooted in evidence based, “Gold Standard” care, whilst also taking the time to listen and explore what are often very complex and personal issues with women.

Dr. Jacqui Caine
Dr Jacqui Caine graduated from the University of Sheffield in 1996 and moved to York to complete her postgraduate training in General Practice. She joined a GP practice in the Ryedale in 2001 and continues to work there as a long-standing Partner. Over the years, she has developed particular expertise in women’s health, including family planning and menopause care. In addition, she is trained in medical acupuncture. Jacqui is a firm believer in the value of continuity in general practice and has cared for many families across generations. With a deep understanding of the local population, she takes time to discuss health in a meaningful way, aiming to educate and empower her patients to make informed decisions about their care.
She lives in Terrington with her husband, three children, three horses, and two dogs. She runs a Medical Aesthetic clinic from home delivering injectable therapies. When she’s not working, Jacqui enjoys riding or walking in the local countryside — and, when given the opportunity, loves to gather the family, prize them off their screens, and engage in some healthy competition, usually on the golf course or more recently, playing padel.

Hello, my name is Emma. I am a friendly, caring, compassionate psychotherapist offering a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
Sometimes we become stuck in a repetitive cycle of unhelpful behaviours and are left with uncomfortable, familiar feelings. We also go through periods of transition and change in life. I provide a secure base within a supportive environment where you can explore different ways to manage your struggles and make sense of the difficulties you are facing.
I believe that building self awareness and understanding helps you to make sense of yourself. In turn this can help improve self esteem and confidence, empowering you make different decisions and choices in your life.
I use an integrative approach which is flexible and tailored to suit your needs. However, I believe most importantly a trusting, empathic relationship is key to successful counselling.
Specialist Midwife
Louise Armstrong RM, BSc (hons), MSc, PGCEA

Louise has been a registered midwife with a special interest in infant feeding for over 30 years. She has worked both in clinical practice and university midwifery education.
She qualified as a registered nurse in 1984 in Sheffield before undertaking her midwifery education at St Mary’s hospital in Paddington, London. Right from the beginning of her midwifery career, Louise developed an interest in infant feeding and helping mothers get breastfeeding off to a good start. After working in hospital Louise became a community midwife working in a team that provided holistic midwifery care throughout the whole childbirth continuum attending many home and hospital births. She facilitated antenatal education classes in the community and visited many mothers during their first few weeks after birth helping them with breastfeeding. It was here she developed experience with all aspects of infant feeding.
Having a passion for teaching, Louise become involved in working as a university lecturer overseeing student midwives in their training where she still practices today. Louise currently leads the ‘Baby Friendly’* accreditation of a university midwifery programme. Pursuing her interest and passion in helping mothers with their choice of infant feeding, Louise trained to Masters level in the practice of frenulotomy (tongue-tie division) at the University of Wolverhampton. The clinical practice was at the tongue-tie clinic in the Russell Hall hospital in Dudley which is one of the largest specialist clinics of its kind in England.
Louise is a member of the Royal College of Midwives (RCM), the Association of Tongue Tie Practitioners (ATP) and an associate member of the lactation consultants UK.
Louise lives with her husband locally in York and enjoys walking and meeting up with friends socially.

As an academic, Jasmine is a senior lecturer and Programme Director of the Doctorate of Counselling Psychology at York St John University, and a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). She teaches on an accredited doctoral programme and is a PhD supervisor. Her research includes working in collaboration with the University of Melbourne on mindfulness and mediation. She is a committee member on the Research Board at the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a psychological consultant to the University of Southern California. Jasmine is an external examiner to Teesside University, Middlesex University, and the New School of Counselling and Psychotherapy (London).

Counselling Psychologist
Dr Jasmine Childs-Fegredo Chartered Counselling Psychologist
Jasmine is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and academic, with 10 years’ experience working in the NHS and in private healthcare. She has worked in both adult and Child and Adolescent mental health services. She has worked primarily with people suffering with depression and anxiety, as well as those presenting with personality disorders and trauma. She is trained to support individuals presenting with a range of distress including insomnia, relationship difficulties, panic and low self -esteem. Jasmine holds a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and is an accredited fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered by the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
As a therapist, Jasmine believes in change through psychological counselling. She is a holistic practitioner, where she is keen to meet the person behind the distress as well as considering psychiatric diagnoses. She always aims to offer an empathetic and warm therapeutic space, where people can feel safe and heard to share their stories. Jasmine is trained in delivering a variety of therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema-informed therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. She is also a trained yoga teacher and recently piloted a new model of psychological therapy, Yoga-integrated Psychotherapy (YiP).
